Hello everyone!
My name is Jessica Slotwinski, and I am an ATMI member and great fan who presented at the September 2008 conference in Atlanta.
I am so glad to be a member of this organization, and given all of your expertise, I am writing with a question.
I am the creator and webmaster of the website
www.tradingfours.org (Trading Fours: a Wiki-provisation for music education), and this site is also the focus of my dissertation. I will be collecting my data during the upcoming spring 2009 and fall 2009 semesters, and in order to continue to develop the site, I am trying to collect job search websites by state/region from knowledgable professionals.
For example, as a NY teahcer, I know that I would not only search in the NY Times for jobs, but I would also look at the SCMEA and NMEA websites for updates on jobs in the area.
I am, though, not familiar with job searching in all areas of the country, so if you know of websites or sources that would be helpful for student teachers seeking N-12 jobs in music education, could you please email them my way (jslot@tradingfours.org)?
I would be greatly appreciative of any and all help! If you take a look at
www.tradingfours.org, specifically on the links page, that might provide a bit more context about my request.
I hope you all are enjoying new ventures in music technology, and I look forward to your input and expertise.
Best,
Jessica Slotwinski
